However, since it is designed to mount to a thermal clutch to use it you have to fab an adapter out of 1/4 to 3/8 aluminum plate. WebJust move all your parts over from the 2.8. You'll need to check your belt set up on the 3.4L as the water pump needs to spin a certain direction. Also you'll need to flywheel/flexplate from the new engine as the 3.4L is internally balanced. Where as some of the 2.8's were externally balanced.
