HDFT enables neuroimaging of forty brain tracts and unveils the details of focal injury at a resolution of 2 millimeters that has not been demonstrated by conventional imaging techniques. The WebHDFT requires high performance scanning on high end 3T MRI machines outfitted with specialized brain coils and using new software to collect and analyzed the data. The analyst methods are currently only available at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
