WebMay 11, 2014 · I use a 2.5mm Easy-Hit fiber optic sight in red and green. It has the longest fiber optic tube so it gathers the most light. If they still made the 2mm, I'd use that. When you are looking at the target you want to see the glowing dot in your peripheral vision. You may stare at it for the first 5-10 shots, but you get over that quickly. WebThese rods are so easy to install in the sight. Just cut a piece about an 1/8th of an inch longer on both sides of the sight. Then use a lighter and without touching the plastic rod. Let the heat shrink and form it into the sight itself. In less then a minute to have the color of your choice. It couldn't be any easier.
